“British Airways” enters Georgian aviation market

The “British Airways” started direct regular flights between London and Tbilisi, marking the airline’s entry into the Georgian aviation market.

This development comes after successful year-long negotiations between the United Airports of Georgia and British Airways, one of Europe’s largest carriers.

Flights will be operated 4 times a week, and tickets are available for purchase on the airline’s website.

The United Kingdom’s flagship brought 150 passengers to Georgia. An official reception was held at the government terminal to mark the occasion. The event was attended by the British Ambassador to Georgia, as well as a representative of the Georgian government.
