The Chief of the Georgian Defence Forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, participated in the 192nd NATO Military Committee meeting chaired by Admiral Rob Bauer.

During the visit in Brussels, Giorgi Matiashvili presented the Didgori Cross Medal to Admiral Bauer in recognition of his significant contributions to NATO-Georgia military cooperation.

He also held a bilateral meeting with the newly elected Chair of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Cavo Dragone, congratulating him on his appointment and wishing him success in his new role.

Besides, the Chief of the Georgian Defence Forces engaged in bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts at NATO headquarters, where they discussed current issues of cooperation in the defence sector.
