A solemn ceremony of awarding certificates with graduates of the 2nd and 3rd groups of basic police training was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The ceremony was officially opened by the Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs- Lela Chikovani, who congratulated the graduates on the start of their professional careers. She emphasized the importance of the police profession and wished them a successful career.

As part of the event, the graduates observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of the police officers who died in the line of duty and for the territorial integrity of Georgia, and laid a wreath at the memorial.

The basic police training program is focused on deepening theoretical knowledge with practical skills, focusing on preparing new personnel for police units, providing them with basic knowledge, and developing skills necessary for police officers to effectively conduct their professional activities.
