The Defense and Security Committee deliberated on the legal package concerning the flare gun regulations for the II reading.

The Draft Law on Weapons and the four deriving Bills are submitted for expedited consideration. The amendments establish stringent liabilities for violating the flare guns and sockets norms.

One of the initiators, MP Greta Tsitsava accentuated the remarks and proposals introduced to the legal package after the I reading. Tengiz Sharmanashvili, the First Deputy Chair of the Committee, introduced the remarks to the documents, envisaging the validity period, term definition, and introduction of new paragraphs to the Draft Laws. All the remarks were taken into account.

Providing the modifications, the Committee endorsed the legal package.
