The main directions  the framework of the 10th session of the Intergovernmental Commissioenvisaged by the Georgia-Azerbaijan strategic partnership and the issues to be discussed withinn on Economic Cooperation were discussed at the meeting between of Georgian Prime Minister and his Azerbaijani counterpart.

The meeting focused on the positive dynamics of the development of close cooperation between the 2 countries in various fields.

Ali Asadov congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze on the Georgian Dream’s victory in the October 26, parliamentary elections, as well as on his election for the position of the Prime Minister.

As he noted, results of the parliamentary elections in Georgia had once again demonstrated the will of the Georgian people.

The parties also highlighted the importance of stability and peace in the South Caucasus region.

Irakli Kobakhidze confirmed Georgian Government’s readiness to promote trilateral dialogue and development of regional cooperation.
