Newly appointed ambassadors from more than 10 countries presented copies of their credentials to the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Georgia

Non-resident ambassadors accredited to Georgia from Kingdom of Belgium, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Republic of Cyprus, Kingdom of Cambodia, Tajikistan, Republic of Guatemala presented copies of their Letters of Credence to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Zurabashvili.

After the presentation of the Letters of Credence, the Deputy Minister held meetings with the ambassadors, congratulating them on the commencement of their diplomatic missions and wishing them success in their future endeavors.

The meetings focused on bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues and the prospects for further developing relations. The parties confirmed their readiness to deepen and intensify cooperation between the countries.

Besides, ambassadors-designate from Philippines, Pakistan, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Burundi, and the Republic of Mali, accredited to Georgia, presented copies of their Letters of Credence to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Khatuna Totladze.

Following the ceremony of presenting the copies of their Letters of Credence, discussions were held regarding the issues on the cooperation agenda between the countries and the potential for developing bilateral relations in various fields. The parties confirmed their readiness to contribute to the deepening of partnerships for the benefit of mutual interests.
