The two-day visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to Tashkent has ended. The head of government was seen off at the international airport by his Uzbek counterpart. Irakli Kobakhidze held the last meeting with the President of Uzbekistan, discussed issues of economic and political cooperation between the two countries. It was noted that the countries are stable trade partners.

During the visit to Tashkent, the Head of the Government of Georgia also met with the Prime Minister of the country and the heads of the legislative body.

The anniversary, tenth session of the Georgia-Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Commission was also held. During the meetings, many priority directions were identified for the development of relations between the two countries. Emphasis was placed on the potential of economic cooperation, which should be utilized more than it currently is.
