The Prime Minister of Georgia denounced foreign Ambassadors for directly interfering in the country`s judicial independence, in response to ambassadors attending court hearings.
Irakli Kobakhidze urged everyone to uphold Georgia`s Constitution and its principles.
"This is direct political interference in the independence of the Georgian judiciary. It is as clear as day. I call on everyone to respect Georgia`s Constitution, its principles, and the conventions that bind foreign ambassadors working in Georgia. Unfortunately, these principles and constitutional norms have not been upheld so far. Hopefully, this will change in the future", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
