The Prime Minister of Georgia said his Government was "closely" monitoring political developments both in the US and the European Union.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, there were noticeable shifts in the approach of the new US administration, while the EU remained consistent in its stance, particularly regarding the ongoing war in Ukraine.

"We must monitor the development of events. The most important thing is to remain fully focused on protecting our national interests. This is our top priority and main objective", - added the Prime Minister.
