To provide housing for those affected by cooperative housing construction, the municipality is ready to transfer land to developers. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.
“We have already resolved the problems for 2 500 families out of 3 500 families affected by cooperative housing issues. Currently, we have announced an Expression of Interest for a land plot near Makhata Mountain, covering approximately 11 hectares.
As a result, we will provide housing solutions for 300 affected families additionally. The winning company will be required to transfer at least 24 100 square meters of residential space in a plaster-coated condition to Tbilisi Municipality for allocation to those affected by cooperative housing failures. This project will enable us to provide housing to around 300 more affected families.
I would like to call upon the business sector and all parties interested in these projects to review the conditions and participate in the Expression of Interest”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
