Georgian national team captain Tornike Shengelia was named in the symbolic top-5 of the Italian Serie A tour.

In the central match of the tour, Virtus defeated its main rival 86:80, with Shengelia scoring 15 points and 6 rebounds in 19 minutes.

The Georgian basketball player has played 13 matches in the current Italian championship season and has been effective in almost all of them.
