The Prime Minister of Georgia said a USD 6 billion investment agreement signed by his Government with Emaar group is “unprecedented and is the largest foreign investment deal since the country regained its independence”.
“To put it in perspective, USD 6 billion represents about 18% of our economy, and this investment will be made over the next 5 years. The initiative, which spans 2 major locations, aims to develop residential spaces as well as enhance various infrastructure sectors, including education, healthcare, hospitality, and sports facilities. This is an unprecedented scale project.
Wherever the group has undertaken a specific project, they have completed it fully and within the expected timeframe and with the required quality. Therefore, this project is in reliable hands, and we appreciate our partners’ interest in implementing such a significant initiative in our country”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
