“Two days ago, the Prime Minister’s official, very important visit to the United Arab Emirates ended, within the framework of which we had various types of meetings. A meeting was held with the Presidents of the United Arab Emirates, there were also business meetings.

I would like to once again emphasize a very important memorandum for our country and bilateral cooperation, which was signed within the framework of the visit - one of the strongest development companies in the world, Emaar Group, which operates in various countries of the world, is entering Georgia. It will implement projects in Tbilisi and Adjara. For example, all the main buildings and skyscrapers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are projects implemented by this company.

The mentioned company will implement foreign investments in Georgia in the amount of approximately USD 6 billion in various development projects.

Investments will be made in Tbilisi and Adjara, which is very important in terms of the country’s economic development, as well as in the fact that high-paying jobs will be created. Georgian companies will be involved in the implementation of these projects. I can say directly that in the history of Georgia’s independence, such an investment of this scale and such a large amount has never been made in one specific project, which, of course, makes me very happy, both as a citizen of this country and as the mayor of the capital”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
