The Chairman of the German Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee wrote on the social network that he is visiting Georgia.

“Finally back in town. Tbilisi – the true capital of Europe”, - writes Michael Roth on X.

Earlier, he announced on social media that this visit to Georgia would be a farewell: “I’m looking forward to my farewell trip to Georgia next week. I’d like to support all committed Europeans, freedom fighters and say goodbye to my friends as a German politician. Even though my parliamentary mandate is ending soon, I’ll continue my commitment to a free Georgia in the heart of the EU”.
