The representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are mobilized in the area surrounding the legislative body and ensure the rule of law.

“Despite numerous calls made by police to the participants of the rally on the spot, to express their protest in a peaceful manner and not to exceed norms established by the law on assembly-manifestation, some of the protesters are physically confronting the law enforcement officers and insult them verbally.

Herewith, we would like to inform the public that as a result of the alleged violent action from the side of one of the members of the manifestation against the police, one employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was injured and taken to the medical facility.

We once again call on the members of the protest rally to refrain from violent actions and protest in accordance with norms defined by the law”, - reads the statement of the MIA.
