In order to protect the rule of law, the employees of various departments of the Ministry are mobilized throughout Georgia, in vicinities of protest rallies held in different cities of the country.

“Georgian legislation ensures the protection of the right to assembly, demonstration and expression. Herewith, the form of protest is defined, to ensure public order and security.

We call on the organizers, leaders and participants of the rally to express their protest within the limits defined by the legislation.

Each illegal action will be followed by respective legal response from the side of the police”, - reads the statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
