Rehabilitation of the pedestrian bridges connecting the first and second buildings N213 of Nutsubidze I microdistrict has started. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.
“In the Vake region, the rehabilitation of the pedestrian bridges connecting the first and second buildings N213 of Nutsubidze I microdistrict has started. The named bridges with their visual, architectural content are very popular not only among the residents of Georgia, but also among tourists.
These buildings were in the hazardous condition. It has not been rehabilitated since the time of the Soviet Union. Accordingly, we made a decision to arrange it according to modern standards.
The damaged areas on the bridges will be restored and covered with natural stone slabs, a new staircase and ramps for people with disabilities will be arranged, waterproofing works will be carried out, metal railings as well as an outdoor lighting network and lanterns will be installed on the bridges”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
