On June 26 this year, a 53-year-old woman from Proszowice reported the theft of several bicycles [worth 6 000 złoty] that had been taken from her property 2 days earlier. Officers were checking various reports from all over Poland, because the Georgian suspect changed his place of residence, hoping to avoid responsibility, writes Polish media.

On November 14, the police managed to find out the suspect - he was in one of the Wrocław employee hotels - and detained him. The suspect was taken to the police station in Proszowice and interrogated with the help of translator. Materials in the case reached the prosecutor’s office in Kraków-Nowa Huta.

The Georgian who was arrested is a 21-year-old who has been residing in Poland for several years. He admitted to stealing one of the 3 bicycles, because he does not remember the other 2. He claims that he was too drunk. At the same time, it turned out that he had also committed various crimes in other parts of Poland. The detained person faces up to 5 years in prison.
