Otar Shamugia, Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, on Friday welcomed his counterparts from Switzerland, South Korea, Liechtenstein, Mexico, and Monaco at the Georgian pavilion during the ongoing 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The meeting brought together members of Environmental Integration Group, which is chaired by Switzerland.
The ministers engaged in discussions on environmental issues confronting their countries, emphasising the necessity of presenting a unified stance on international platforms. They explored priorities for COP29 and expressed their commitment to achieving tangible results that would benefit both developing and developed countries in addressing climate challenges.
