The construction of the road bridge connecting Bagebi settlement and University Street has been completed. The road bridge is opened for vehicles from today.

The construction works lasted two years. The road bridge was built next to the existing pedestrian bridge. The bridge is about half a kilometer long and four-lane. As part of this project, two important junctions are constructed on University Street and the Bagebi-Tskneti Road, as a result of which the traffic jams on Tamarashvili Street, as well as from Tskneti to Chavchavadze, will be unloaded and traffic will be freer.

The bridge is adapted for everyone, both for vehicles, as well as for pedestrians and bicycles.

Tbilisi municipal budget financed the project by GEL 6 million in 2021, GEL 14 million in 2022, and GEL 15 million in 2023.
