The Mayor of Tbilisi highlighted today the significance of family traditions and values as pillars of strength for Georgia. Kakha Kaladze responded to the Patriarchate of Georgia’s invitation to celebrate May 17 as a day dedicated to family sanctity.

“As you know, May 17 is the day of the sanctity of the family. The family is what our state stands for. A protected, inviolable, family based on traditions and values means a strong Georgia. The love of the homeland starts with the family”, - said Kakha Kaladze.

He announced the opportunity for the public to participate in the celebration, which included a gathering at Kashueti St. George Church.

The Mayor encouraged families to attend the event with their loved ones, including kids and grandchildren, fostering a sense of community and solidarity.
