It’s been three hours, the plenary session in the Parliament is going on amid noise and controversy. At today’s session the draft law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence” should be adopted in the third reading.

During political statements, there were several physical confrontations between members of the opposition and the majority.

The incident initially took place between Levan Khabeishvili [United National Movement] and Dito Samkharadze [Georgian Dream]. Samkharadze objected to Khabeishvili’s reply, who accused his opponent of encouraging violence.

Swearing and insulting statements were heard, after which a hand-to-hand fight began, other MP also joined.
