Protest rally is underway in front the Parliament. By 20:30 after marching from various locations student groups from different Tbilisi universities gathered in front of the parliament building and joined the protesters already there.

Rustaveli Avenue was blocked throughout the day after the May 12-13 night rally. The protesters demand that the ruling party withdraw the draft law.

Earlier today, the Parliament’s Legal Committee approved the draft law in its third reading. The parliamentary session is scheduled for tomorrow, May 14.
