Mzia Amaghlobeli, founder of Netgazeti/Batumelebi, has ended her hunger strike on the 38th day.
This was announced by the editor of “Batumelebi”, Eteri Turadze, at a briefing held at the Vivamedi Clinic.
“In the wake of the Batumi tragedy, where two minors tragically fell into a trench in the Dreams City and died, it is profoundly difficult for me to hear society’s concern for my health and life.
Over the next few days, with the help of doctors, I will try to somehow resume eating. I thank the “prisoners of conscience” for their solidarity and ask them to also stop their hunger strike. I feel a special responsibility towards my like-minded colleagues, friends, and family. I don’t want my hunger strike to weaken you. You should fight for me as well“, - reads the letter.
