Mikheil Saakashvili’s trial in the city court on the illegal border crossing case recently ended. The examination of the prosecution’s evidence was completed today.

According to the Prosecutor, Mikheil Saakashvili once again confirmed that he entered the territory of Georgia illegally. The former president himself used his right to speak, making political statements and saying that rallies and unity are needed.

“Those who avoid mentioning my name so often also demotivate the absolute majority of my supporters, although I always call on them to be part of the rallies, to go to these rallies. We need a lot of people, courage, unity. Unity has no alternative, unity minus someone - it doesn’t work. That’s why we must walk this path, your struggle will definitely be crowned with success, I am sure of that. I want to tell everyone that this is a hard struggle”, - said Mikheil Saakashvili.
