“If someone gave this lady a button to launch a shell, she would gladly press it and launch shells at Georgia. She has made such statements before and is talking about such things today that are shameful and hostile to our country, the content of which is clear. She hates Georgia and the Georgian people.

Can this institution, whose representative she is in Georgia, be reduced to the absence of corpses, and how can she remain a friend of our country after that? She is a hostile person”, - said David Matikashvili.

Laura Thornton, the Head of the McCain Institute’s Global Democracy Programs, in the Op-ed to Civil.ge, called on the protesters to turn the protest into civil disobedience and a strike.
