The First Constitution of Georgia became a fundamental prerequisite for future generations in their struggle for independence and sovereignty, writes Speaker of the Georgian Parliament on his Facebook page.

"On February 21, 1921, the First Republic of Georgia adopted the country`s constitution. Its adoption was accomplished just three days before Georgia`s Sovietization and acquired a crucial function.

This document became a fundamental prerequisite for future generations in their struggle for independence and sovereignty. I congratulate you on the Day of the First Constitution", - writes Shalva Papuashvili.
