Tbilisi budget increases by 209 million - first session of the year underway at the City Council

The first session of the year is underway in the Tbilisi City Council, where deputies will discuss the budget. It will increase by GEL 209 million and will reach a total of GEL 2 billion 192 thousand.

About 40 issues will be discussed at the session, including a permit to add 12 floors to the mega-complex on the territory of the Sports Academy.

The project is being protested by the opposition, which is in a boycott mode and is not attending the sessions.
