Hungarian Foreign Minister said Hungary would not implement the EU’s decision to suspend visa-free travel for individuals holding Georgian diplomatic passports.
“Hungary will not suspend its agreement with Georgia regarding the exemption from visa requirements for service and diplomatic passport holders, because the Hungarian Government believes that Georgia’s future should be decided within Georgia, and the Georgians have made a clear decision, whether Brussels likes it or not”, - said Péter Szijjártó.
His comments followed after the decision of the European Union foreign ministers in Brussels, with Slovakia and Hungary opposed to this measure.
