The Chairman of the Committee on European Integration highlighted the importance of Hungary being “reliable and responsible” partner of Georgia.
“Our talks with the Hungarian President will be a continuation of our talks with the Hungarian Prime Minister. We will summarize what we have been through and what further steps we can take to both deepen our bilateral relations and be prepared to face, among other things, the impact of US foreign policy on global politics. At this geopolitically critical moment, we are pleased that Hungary is a reliable and responsible partner of Georgia, and this was emphasized at all the meetings the Georgian delegation had”, - said Levan Makhashvili.
His comments followed after the Parliament’s Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili, who is on an official visit to Hungary, met with the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
