The Prime Minister of Georgia has commenced his visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Head of the Government of Georgia was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport of Baku by Samir Sharifov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the visit, Irakli Kobakhidze will hold one-on-one meetings with Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The 10th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan will be held under the leadership of the Prime Ministers of both countries.

The Prime Minister of Georgia arrived in the capital of Azerbaijan with a delegation, which includes First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture David Songhulashvili, Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze, and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
