During her official visit to Azerbaijan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia honoured the memory of Azerbaijan’s national leader, Heydar Aliyev, and his wife, Zarifa Aliyeva.

Maka Botchorishvili laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame Memorial in the Alley of Martyrs.

This is her first official visit to Azerbaijan as the Foreign Minister. During the visit, she will meet with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, for discussions in both a one-on-one setting and an expanded format. After their meeting, the Ministers will held a joint press conference.
