The Prime Minister of Georgia reaffirmed that the 2024 parliamentary elections were free from fraud or significant manipulation, with confirmation from multiple sources, including the OSCE/ODIHR.

“All instances have confirmed that there was neither fraud nor any significant manipulation in these elections. This was first of all confirmed by the OSCE/ODIHR, which rejected all 5 main accusations made by the radical opposition. The Constitutional Court confirmed this, and the Prosecutor’s Office has practically already confirmed this as well. Besides, it is confirmed by the fact that everyone avoids investigation and questioning, and the reason is simple: no one has any evidence, not just of fraud, but even of any significant manipulation. Therefore, everything is as clear as day.

As we proved 4 years ago to the radical opposition, the elections were not falsified but rather their parallel counting results were falsified. This year it was also proved that it was not the elections that were falsified, but their exit polls were falsified. Consequently, everything else is just a futile attempt to somehow bring disorder into the political process. However, unlike the events from 4 years ago, this year they have no resources for this”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
