According to the National Environment Agency, rain is expected in Georgia on October 17-18, snow in some places in the high mountains, strong wind from the west direction, lightning, hail are possible, storm on the sea.

The expected rainfall can cause a significant increase in the water levels on the rivers of Georgia, floods on small rivers, and landslides and mudslides in hilly and mountainous areas (risk level is medium).
