A railway accident occurred on the Didube - Avchala section in Tbilisi, resulting in the deaths of 2 employees of Georgian Railways who were performing scheduled work.

The incident involved a train travelling in the Batumi-Tbilisi direction, which has been stopped. No passengers on the train were injured.

Georgian Railways has expressed deep sorrow over the accident and extended condolences to the families of the deceased employees.
