The occupation regime illegally detained two Georgian citizens in the occupied Gali region. The information is distributed by the State Security Service of Georgia [SSSG].

According to the agency, the representatives of the occupation regime, through the hotline, confirmed the fact and announced that the so-called criminal case has been initiated on the charge of “organizing illegal migration”.

The so-called “court” sentenced both illegally detained persons to 2 months of “pretrial detention” and now they are in the so-called “Abkhazia State Security Service isolator”.

The SSSG has already provided the information to the Co-chairs and partners of the Geneva International Discussions. All existing mechanisms have been activated and work is actively underway to free the citizens living in Otobaia.
