The employees of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative measures and investigative actions detained A.U. (DoB 2000) for premeditated murder.

The committed crime envisions up to 15 years in prison.

The investigation established that in the territory of the agricultural market located in Dusheti municipality, the accused A.U. physically assaulted two persons, injured them using a cold weapon and hid from the scene of the incident. As a result of severe injuries, B.S. died in a medical facility.

Law enforcement officers arrested the accused persons few hours after the incident.

The police seized the weapon of crime - a knife as evidence.

The investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is in progress under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
