The damaged sections of the main water supply pipeline near the village of Tsitsamuri have been restored. The relevant information was released by the Georgian Water and Power.

“Water supply to users will be gradually restored… The pipeline is being flushed, after which the network will begin to be filled with laboratory-tested, high-quality drinking water.

Filling the central main pipeline with drinking water is a difficult and complex process, which is caused by the high pressure load of water in the pipeline. After filling the network, the technical teams of GWP will start observing the full perimeter of the said pipeline and related networks and technical monitoring of new connection points to assess the stability of the restored pipeline against water pressure load”, - says GWP.
