The employees of Martvil police division of Samegrelo-Zemo-Svaneti police department, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, detained brothers - G. Kh. (DoB 1979) for the attempted murder and G. Kh. (DoB 1983) for threats.

The committed crimes envision up to 15 years in prison.

The investigation established that the accused G. Kh., on the basis of a mutual dispute, wounded a fellow villager, M. B. (DoB 1991) with a cold steel and A.B. (DoB 1992) was also injured during the incident. It was established that the defendants threatened to kill the locals by demonstrating cold weapons and hunting rifles.

Both detainees were arrested by law enforcement officers as a result of immediate activities. Police seized the weapons of crime as evidence.

The investigation is being conducted under Articles 19-108 and 151 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which refers to attempted murder and threats.
