Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze opens Samtredia Public Service Hall

This is the 119th public service hall across the country, and all this stands for caring for our citizens, offering them better services, and our primary duty to our country and citizens, Georgian Prime Minister stated in his speech at the opening ceremony of the Samtredia Public Service Hall.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the new public service hall offers the residents of Samtredia a more comfortable environment to enjoy top-quality services. For comparison, if there were only 12 public service halls operating in Georgia prior to 2012, the Samtredia Public Service Hall is the 119th of its kind across the country, with an additional 14 public service halls to open in the near future.

“Modern infrastructure and equipment, and a comfortable environment, will be offered to each resident of Samtredia. Importantly, the facility is adapted to meet the needs of persons with disabilities. Thus, everything is in place for Samtredia’s residents to enjoy top-tier services in the comfortable environment of the public service hall.

About 500 public and private services will be offered to Samtredia’s residents. Over the past few years, the package of services has increased from 200 to 500, one of the main achievements of the Justice Ministry, of course, for which I am thankful to the Ministry. Notably, this is the 119th public service hall across the country, and the 24th in the Imereti Region in particular. And this is another considerable achievement of the Ministry, and I thank its leadership for it as well. Over the next few months, an additional 14 public service halls are scheduled to open, to bring this crucially important project to conclusion. Every citizen across the country will be able to enjoy high-quality services at public service halls. Let me remind you that, prior to 2012, only 12 public service halls operated in the country. And this means that the speed of relevant workflow has increased tenfold, which is important, of course, and all this stands for caring for our citizens, offering them better services, and our primary duty to our country and citizens. The statistics are impressive-last year alone, various public service halls across the country served over 5 million customers. This is one of the key spheres of our governance demonstrating that the country’s state services are constantly developing, and work in this direction will continue”, - said the Head of Government.

He thanked Justice Minister Rati Bregadze, the Ministry’s leadership, and each employee, also the State Representative and municipal authorities.
