A protest rally is underway near the Parliament in parallel with the plenary session of the legislature. As it known, the MPs are going to adopt today the draft law “On the Transparency of Foreign influence”.

Recently, there was noise on Chichinadze’s corner, where a confrontation took place between one of the participants of the rally and the law enforcement officers. Police detained 1one person.

The participants of the rally demand that the authorities suspend the discussion of the law and withdraw the document.

According to Tamar Chergoleishvili, a member of the “European Georgia” political party, talking about softening the draft law serves to confuse the public.
