According to the National Environment Agency, the avalanche danger level is high on the Gudauri (post)-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stefantsminda-Larsi highway of international importance.

“Due to the danger, all types of motor vehicle traffic is prohibited on the mentioned section”, - reads the statement of the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
