The Minister of Defence paid a tribute to the memory of fallen servicemembers to mark Day of Commemoration of the Dead, a holiday for Orthodox Christian followers.

Irakli Chikovani, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, the Chief of the Georgian Defence Forces and their deputies marked the date at the Mukhatgverdi Cemetery of Brothers in Tbilisi.

He also congratulated Orthodox followers among the families of the servicemembers with the Easter holiday.
