The Parliament of Georgia issued a statement saying that due to the attack on the Parliament building, which poses a threat to the lives and health of the people in the building, the red level of security was activated from 23:00 on May 1.

According to the relevant decree, under the red level of security, all persons are obliged to leave the Parliament building, except for those determined by the Speaker of the Parliament in accordance with the nature of the threat and the need to prevent it.
