The Public Defender of Georgia visited those arrested at the rally held on Rustaveli Avenue, who are placed in Avchala’s isolation cell.

According to Levan Ioseliani, there are 6 people in the Zahesi detention center, 2 of whom indicate physical injuries.

“I visited all of them. 2 of them indicate physical injuries, which our representative is providing explanations for. We will forward this information to the Special Investigation Service and follow the investigation process closely.

Of the 6 people visited here, 2 indicate [physical injury], but 1 of these appears to have physical injury to the face. The other one says that it doesn"t seem like an injury, but I got it”, - said the Ombudsman.
