Based on security reasons and to prevent escalation of the events, the employees of various structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are mobilized in the vicinity of the legislative body and ensure public order.

According to the Law of Georgia “On Assemblies and Manifestations”, blocking entrances of administrative bodies is forbidden.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reiterates its call towards the organizers and participants of the rally to protest peacefully, not to ignore requirements of the active legislation and follow the instructions of policemen on the spot.

Any violation will be immediately foiled by the police which will be followed by appropriate legal actions.
