The Chairman of the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee Givi Mikanadze, along with First Deputy Chairman Giorgi Chakvetadze, held a meeting with students and academic staff at the Caucasus International University.
During the session, Givi Mikanadze and Giorgi Chakvetadze discussed the Committee’s primary activities. They also briefed the students on legislative changes regarding the procedure for internships in the public service. As of January 1, 2024, internships in the public service are now paid, and as of November 1, 2022, internships are considered work experience.
The conversation also covered ongoing reforms and innovations in the fields of education, science, and youth. Giorgi Khatidze, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Caucasus International University, attended the meeting along with other university representatives.
