The Speaker of the Parliament denounced some representatives of the opposition for not supporting the Euronest resolution on the country’s European integration.

As Shalva Papuashvili said, the development had shown that the Ukrainian delegation and the members of the parliamentary opposition were acting “in concert”.

“We see that for them [opposition] Georgia is no longer a homeland and a state, because they act in the interests of other states and not in the interests of their own country and citizens.

We saw an absolutely disgraceful statement by the representative of the Ukrainian delegation regarding the reasons why they didn’t support the resolution, as if Russian sanctions are being circumvented in Georgia. In the end, we saw that these representatives of the Ukrainian delegation and the United National Movement acted together”, - said Shalva Papuashvili.
