The second stage of rehabilitation works at Narikala Fortress is set to begin. The relevant statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

According to Kakha Kaladze, the selected contractor company will be responsible for the rehabilitation, with a project cost of GEL 13 million.

The completion of the works is set for the fall of 2025.

The rehabilitation will encompass both the courtyard and the outer perimeter of the fortress, along with the installation of decorative lighting.

In 2017, the Tbilisi Development Fund implemented the first stage of the Narikala rehabilitation project. More than GEL 726 000 was spent from the budget. The works of the second stage will start in a week.
