The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia - Vakhtang Gomelauri held a meeting with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Ramil Usubov. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Giorgi Butkhuzi and the Head of the National Security Council’s Office - Givi Tumanishvili.

Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of enhancing cooperation in the field of security between the respective agencies of the two countries. The conversation also touched upon the current developments in the region as well as relevant issues in the field of security.

At the end of the meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri thanked his Azerbaijani colleague for the fruitful cooperation and expressed hope that collaborative relations will be actively continued and expanded in the future in various directions.
